Stage One: Prior to the increased volumes and/or weights being applied to the pavement. The Stage One deliverables to the client are current condition data, and if structural testing has been performed, Remaining Life.
Stage Two: Once the task or project has been completed – this can be as little as days part or even years. The section is re-tested to determine the effect (if any) of the increased volumes and/or weights. The deliverables at this stage are once again, current condition data, and if relevant Remaining Life, however they are accompanied by a written condition report which compares the condition data (and if relevant Remaining Life) from both stages and examines the level of deterioration (if any) that has occurred above expected levels. |
